How to search for new bands on MTV’s new music website Band News can be a daunting task, especially if you don’t know the names of any of the bands that are expected to be announced.
Luckily, MTV has been working with experts to help users find the bands they’re looking for.
To help you, we’ve compiled a list of the most important bands to check out, including a breakdown of what they are and what they’ll be performing.
Here are the bands MTV News is hoping will make their way onto the site soon.
The Verve: “I Just Wanna Be With You”The Verves, whose hit song “I Wanna Dance” was featured on the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” have released a new video for their song “Loyalty.”
It shows singer Ryan Hemsworth getting back to his old life.
It’s a sweet, bouncy little video and a fitting end to a song that was one of MTV’s most successful singles of 2017.
The Verve is a group that’s never had the spotlight before, and this video is one of the first hints that they might have a big year ahead.

Kiss: “Taste”The band Kiss are a family-friendly group who have had some hits.
Their “Love Is A Weapon” was one song that hit the charts and they’re set to play in Los Angeles on July 13.
In the video for the song, frontman Joe Lauer (who also played in the band with guitarist and bassist Mark Kermode) plays an acoustic guitar with a microphone to get everyone singing along.
Kiss have already released their second studio album, “Tastes Like” and they have been working on their follow-up to that, which will be released on September 21.

Paparazzi: “Fashion Lover”Paparazzi are a group of pop-rockers who have performed with acts like the Beach Boys, and they recently released a video for “Famous”.
The video for this song features frontman John Darnielle (who plays drums) playing a guitar with an acoustic keyboard.
It sounds a bit like a traditional pop song, but it’s a refreshing, catchy tune.

Bones: “Rage”Bones are a pop-punk band who were signed to Jagjaguwar Records.
They’ve already released a handful of singles on their new album, but this video for Bones’ new song “Rampage” will help give you a better idea of what to expect from the group.

The Strokes: “A Perfect Circle”The Strobes have released an album called “The Perfect Circle”, which they recorded in London.
The album is a collaboration between the band and the band’s producer, Julian Casablancas.

Avenged Sevenfold: “No Surprises”Avenging Sevenfold are one of many groups that have released videos for their songs.
They have previously released videos of their songs on YouTube, and now the band is releasing a video of “No Surprise”.
The song features drummer/guitarist Dave Grohl (who’s played with Foo Fighters) playing drums with a mic to get everybody singing along, and the video is a beautiful little video that shows the band playing their new song.

The xx: “Can’t Feel My Face”The xx are a band that has released five albums since they formed in 2014, and their latest album, The xx: In Colour, is the group’s first since their 2013 album, Everything Was Awesome.
The song “Can We Have It All?” features the band performing on a stage with the lyrics “Can we have it all?
You’re so cute and I just wanna dance with you.”

The Killers: “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”The KillERS have been on the radar for quite some time, and we’ve seen their videos on YouTube and Vevo.
The Killers have released four albums on their own label, and have performed live with bands like The Cure and The Smashing Pumpkins.
