Next Big Futures is a collaboration between Soundcloud founder Kevin Liles and producer Josh Homme.
Their album was announced earlier this month, but the two had to delay the release of their debut full-length album.
The album, titled Bauhaus Band, was recorded in Liles’ garage, with a mix of guitars, bass, drums and vocals from a range of artists including The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, and more.
You can stream the album below.
Next Big Future’s official Facebook page has also been updated to announce the album, and it has garnered over 17,000 likes and more than 14,000 shares in just 24 hours.
This isn’t the first time a band has gone into hibernation.
In April 2017, the indie rock band The National revealed they were in a permanent recording session, with the band members sleeping on the floor.
In November 2017, The National announced they were going to record a new album with their producer, Thelonious Monk, after releasing a track titled, “All I Need Is You”.
There have also been a number of artists releasing a new record with their label in 2017.
Last week, a group of artists called The Red Lips revealed they would be recording a new EP.
These artists, including The Chainsmokers, are known for releasing new music with a variety of producers.
According to the Billboard, the new record is called, I Wanna Be Free, and will be released on February 11, 2019.
