Barton Watch Band, the musical based on the band’s hit 1984 hit, is back on Broadway with a new, extended run at the New York City Public Theater.
The Broadway cast of The Goldfinger, which also includes Tony nominee Daniel Radcliffe, will perform the show’s final act, titled “Singing on the Wall.”
The show opens Nov. 10.
“Barton Watch” is a production of the Broadway musical “Waltz with a Twist,” which is now on tour.
“We had so many great experiences in rehearsals with Daniel Radcliff and all of the cast,” said executive producer James Laski, who co-directed the production with Tony winner Matthew Lewis.
“There’s nothing quite like seeing the band live and experiencing the excitement that is created by the fans.”

“Songs on the wall” is one of several Broadway shows this year that will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the hit 1984 rock musical, which was nominated for seven Tony Awards, including best musical and best play.
The show, which starred Ben Affleck as a New York detective who gets involved in a conspiracy involving an old friend from the band, has been touring across the country.
The musical debuted in 1985 and went on to gross more than $1 billion at the box office.

BartonWatch Band, created by John Henson and James Litt, was a hit with fans and critics alike in the early ’80s and is still performed by a diverse group of musicals.
The group has sold out concerts in London and New York, and last summer, it performed its first-ever Broadway performance.
The new show is a musical in the tradition of Waltz with the Twist and The Music Box, but this time, it will focus on a new group of characters, not just the original band members.
The ensemble will include new members of the band.
“It’s very important that we have someone that will play the lead role and be able to take on this role without having to do any of the stunts and the stunts that are so common in movies,” Litt said.
“That person is Ben Affkerson.”
