“We’ve been in discussions with the venue and they’re obviously very excited,” Gap Band guitarist Matt Matthews said.
“It’s definitely going to be an interesting weekend.
I’m not sure how long we’re going to keep it a secret, but it’s definitely an opportunity to get out and do a few gigs.”

“Gap band are always open to the possibility of doing something special for the Sydney event, but this is an ongoing process,” he said.
Gap is currently touring Australia, playing at Brisbane’s Brisbane Theatre on July 1 and Adelaide’s Royal Opera House on July 3.
It will then play at the Adelaide Opera House from July 7-10.
The band is also scheduled to play at Sydney’s Opera House in September.
